Finally.... My sister is blogging!

For years now I've been telling my sister she should blog! Afterall, she does have a lot of great things to say and share!!! Last week, my dream finally came true! :) Sheena is blogging about reading and cooking and life! I'm already super excited at what I am seeing! 1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first ...album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.

5 - Post it with this text in the “caption” and reblog.

Why "Speaking in Plain Shamish"? A few years ago I was looking for a new catchy title for my blog and I wanted to incorporate my nickname "Shamish" (Shannon + Amish = Shamish). A friend of mine said "You know that old saying "Speaking in Plain English"? How about "Speaking in Plain Shamish" - The Amish are called the plain and it goes perfectly with Shamish! And wallah, there you have it!

Welcome To My New Blog!!!

It's been a couple of years since I've really blogged and I truly miss it!!! I just loved sharing about the books I've read, the pictures I've taken, layouts I've created and sharing Christ's love with you all! I can't tell you how many times I've had people asking me.... "So, when are you gonna blog again... I miss it." Well since you miss it and I miss it.... here I go!!! You'll hear about books, scrapping, my family, my dog, my fish, the Amish, photography and most importantly... Jesus! :) It's nowhere near complete yet... but enjoy!!
