30 Day Photography Challenge - Day 30 - Self-portrait

Wow! I did it!! Although I was late on a couple days, I completed this challenge! Thanks to Misti for hosting this super fun challenge. It had me totally thinking outside the box and I got to meet a lot of great photographers and bloggers along the way!! Misti is cooking up her own list and will be hosting another one (I hope real soon!)!!!

I've been totally loving everyone's Instagram images lately, and since my camera is way too heavy to do a self-portrait, and I didn't feel like playing with a timer, I went with an iPhone pic! :) Here is me kissing my beautiful baby!

Day 24 - 30 Day Photography Challenge - Animal

This is my wild animal who does a fabulous job at avoiding the camera... the word "treat" didn't even work to get eye contact!

30 Day Photography Challenge, Day 22 - Hands

First of all, please forgive me for my tardiness. These last few weeks have been crazy!!! I am going to try to do a bunch of blog posts today in attempt to get caught up on this challenge.

Day 22's challenge didn't saything about "human" hands... so I went with a doggie hand! :)

30 Day Photography Challenge, Day 14 - Eyes

It was a total no-brainer when I saw today's challenge topic..... my baby has the best blue eyes!


My honey went fishing yesterday and caught a couple walleye. I was up for a real challenge, so I tried to photograph the walleye. I knew it would be a difficult to get a good picture of it's glowing eye... and this is what I ended up with. I took a bunch of them and finally hit the angle just right... Not too bad, I guess.

I love this dog!

Photo of the Week - Week 2

I did take the photo, just didn't have the chance to post it last week since I started two classes!!!! Here's my baby girl! :) You'll probably find that she is the subject of my photos quite often! :) I took this picture with my new flash diffuser and used an action called "Hot Cocoa" from CoffeeShop!!

The Death of Bear

This was just minutes AFTER I performed surgery on the poor thing. Bear had a broken leg and broken arm that I successfully repaired while Lady waited patiently.... now half of his "fat" and his "heart" (a.k.a squeaker) are removed from his poor body.

My baby girl loves snow!

Lady Isabelle is a true snow dog!!! She loves biting at the snow when it's thrown at her and she loves to zoom around the yard! She's a crazy dog! I love her.
